What I Learnt Last Lesson ...

Last lesson we got our Brief for this project...
'The Titles and opening of a new fiction film to last a maximum of 2 minuets'.
After, we were given the mark scheme and shown what level we should be aiming for. It is a group project however we will be getting marks on our individual contribution.
We went through the differences of a thriller and a horror.
- A horror normally has lots of crime and violence, whereas a thriller makes you ask questions and makes you imagine whats happened.
We looked at the 'Conventions Of Thrillers' they included :
- Eerie Music
- Fog
- Night Time
- Ask Questions
- Cliff Hanger
- Crime
- Suspense
- Jumpy
- Tension
- Sophisticated
- Twists
Lastly we was the opening of 'Memento' ( Nolan, 2000, US ). Whilst watching this we had to find the conventions of a Thriller.
