Brick ...

Brick fits in with the Thriller genre by the use of;
- Close up Shots. This makes the audience only see certain parts of the scene. This makes the audience wonder what is being left out. The use of close ups, it leaves out important information.
- The narrative is non-linier, this means it goes from the end to the start. This makes the audience ask questions about whats been happening.
- Questions being asked, this is a main convention of the 'thriller genre'.
This film opening, uses alot of close ups, this makes the viewer have to think about the storyline.
